In high school, Wayne Alford Jr. was introduced to a new elective that changed the course of his career decisions. While attending the Film program at Franklin High School, in Somerset, NJ Wayne’s teacher Micheal Pinnix introduced him to the world of film where he found his passion in television and film editing. Wayne furthered his education and attended Howard University and Georgia State University. 

As a northern native, Wayne made a life-altering move to Atlanta, Georgia where he took an internship with a Production Studio that furthered his learning and excitement for the entertainment industry. During his tenure, he served as “Assistant Editor” on projects with BET, TVone and also worked on the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards.

In 2013 Wayne reached a milestone in his career and began working as a Senior Editor on indie projects that would give him even more experience in commercial, web series, feature films, and music videos. Wayne continues to be passionate about the art of editing which allows Wayne to be creative in the ways that allow him to be a part of molding the story in post-production.

Currently, Wayne works for a production company that shows programming nationally while balancing and growing his business “Alford Media and Post Production. 

Now a husband and father of three, Wayne wants to continue to tell stories that will appeal to the masses, while being highly efficient in delivering great projects for his clients in a timely manner.

Over eight years ago, Alabama native Darcel Alford made a life-altering decision. She was working a lucrative job, which allowed her to provide a comfortable lifestyle for her 5-year-old son; however, she was missing key milestones in his life. Consequently, she quit her job and began to live off of her savings.  Later, an opportunity presented itself. She was offered a non-paid internship at a production company that gave her the chance to learn the filmmaking business. 

Darcel has never looked back. As the former executive assistant to a high-profiled production studio CEO, she quickly learned the skills needed for producing, writing, and directing. During her tenure at the Production Company, she worked on projects like ESPNU’s “The Battle,” TV One’s “The Rickey Smiley Show,” “UP TV’s “Raising Izzie,” and “In the Meantime,” and among others.

As a director and producer, today, Darcel focuses on creating engaging content and providing provocative storylines that capture the hearts of everyday people, and today’s ever-changing world.

Darcel continues to balance her family life with her passion for storytelling. She continues to write, produce and direct her own projects while also being the Post Production Supervisor for Alford Media & Post Production. Darcel handles the day to day operations and administration for AMMP and enjoys giving great customer service to all clients.

CHANNING R. ARMSTRONG

Channing Armstrong is a 16-year-old Sophomore at Johns Creek High School. Channing has been able to grow up in the world of entertainment and has had the pleasure of working and being an actor on several large productions.

After working on a project for school Channing asked his father to show him a little more about what it took to edit his own projects. After working with him Channing realized that he enjoyed the art of making things up and being able to tell stories.  

Channing contributes his passion for entertainment to his parents and also his 8th-grade social studies teacher who continues to be his sheer motivation to become more. 

Channing currently works as a Junior Assistant for a celebrity daily digital newsletter. He also works as an Assistant Editor on projects with Alford Media and Post Production. Channing enjoys watching television, playing video games, going on bike rides, and playing VR games.

Channing finds it amazing to work for his family and bring honor to them through his hard work. Channing hopes to continue his career and attend either Howard University or SCAD Atlanta.
